How to use Total
A quick, step-by-step guide to finding your mechanical seals and putting together a quote.
1. Search and filter products
In the Products section you can search by name or group, and filter by minimum and maximum temperature, pressure (PSI), or speed (RPM). The filters show seals that support at least the value you enter, so you can use them with your equipment's real operating conditions.
Every result can be shared or bookmarked — the URL changes with the filters you apply.
2. Compare several products
From the catalog, check the box in the top-right corner of each card to add a product to the comparison, without leaving the list. Once you have the ones you're interested in, open the comparison to see their specs side by side.
3. Build and send your quote
You need to be signed in to build a quote — if you don't have an account, you can create one from Join.
Choose a product and its options
Go to a product's page, select the material, dimension, and any other options that apply, and add it to your quote.
Review your cart
There you'll see all the products you've added. You can change the quantity, remove products, or apply a discount code if you have one.
Confirm address and phone number
Before sending, we'll ask you to confirm the shipping address and contact phone number.
Send the quote
Once you send it, you'll see a confirmation page and receive an email with a summary of your request.
4. What happens after you send it?
- 1. Our team reviews the products in your quote and assigns a price to each one.
- 2. You'll get an email letting you know your quote has been priced.
- 3. From that email, or from My orders in your account, you can see the price of each product and the total.
We quote based on the specific dimensions and conditions of your equipment, and we typically respond within 24 business hours.
